[Important Update] Install AutoCAD 2018.0.2

Shortly after the release of AutoCAD 2018, Autodesk released an update to fix a bug that slipped into the initial release. Upon the release of the AutoCAD 2018.0.1 update, Autodesk realized that there was an error in the update that would cause the software to not start on and after June 1, 2017. The update was pulled and replaced with AutoCAD 2018.0.2.

However, some users installed Update 2018.01 before it was pulled. So, it is essential that those users install AutoCAD 2018.0.2 before June 1, 2017 for their software to continue working.

This update applies to: AutoCAD 2018, AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018, AutoCAD Architecture 2018, AutoCAD MEP 2018, AutoCAD Mechanical 2018, AutoCAD Electrical 2018, AutoCAD Map 3D 2018, AutoCAD Plant 3D 2018, and Advance Steel 2018. There is a separate update available for AutoCAD LT 2018.

How to Install the Update

  1. Sign into your Autodesk Account.
  2. Navigate to the Management page and select Product Updates from the menu on the left.
  3. You will see the option for the AutoCAD 2018.0.2 or AutoCAD LT 2018.0.2 Update. Pick the option that is applicable to your product, download and install it.
