Autodesk Desktop App
While the new Autodesk Desktop app downloads automatically after the AutoCAD 2017 installation is complete, the app is designed to deliver updates and security patches for all 2015, 2016, and 2017 versions of Autodesk products running on Microsoft Windows. This subscription-aware tool will also deliver learning content and update notifications for all of your licensed products.
AutoCAD 2017 Import PDF
AutoCAD users have been clamoring for years for PDF to be recognized as a supported Import File format. With AutoCAD 2017, you can finally import geometry, TrueTypeTM text, and raster images from a PDF file.
Enhanced Coordination Model
Coordination models are used to synchronize workflows through the pre-construction and construction phases of a project among various trades. In AutoCAD 2017, coordination models have been enhanced to allow objects to snap to precise locations on the model while you design.
Share Design View
Ease of collaboration is increasingly important in digital projects—as is protecting the integrity of your designs. In AutoCAD 2017, there is a new way to publish your design to the cloud without exposing your DWGTM files.
