Virtual Live Workshop: Grasping Railings, An Exercise in Building Revit a Railing System

Railing systems are one of the most complex system families in the Revit world. They can be challenging to understand and present an even more fun challenge in building. During this 90-minute workshop, we will look at all of the parts that make up a railing system, the settings within the system, and together we’ll customize a railing that can be run in a project. We’ll also discuss workarounds and solutions when railing systems are just not giving us the control we need in a project.

At the end of this class, users will:

• Have a better understanding of the Revit railing system and its settings
• Create a custom railing system
• Feel more confident the next time they need to run a railing in a project
• Take away some tricks to use on their next railing family
