Simplifying Geotechnical Data Integration in Civil 3D

June 3 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm PDT

Geotechnical data integration is an essential part of infrastructure projects, but incorporating borehole data into Civil 3D manually can be time-consuming and error-prone. This webinar will explore the capabilities of the Geotechnical Modeler, a powerful tool within Civil 3D designed to integrate geotechnical data easily into projects.

U.S. CAD’s Doug Benoit will demonstrate how the Geotechnical Modeler allows for the direct import and visualization of geotechnical data, eliminating the need for complex imports or conversions. He’ll also show you how to create 3D models of boreholes, represent geological layers, and automatically generate subsurfaces, saving time and improving accuracy.

What You Will Learn:

  • How to import and manage geotechnical data in Civil 3D using GM
  • Visualizing boreholes in 3D, longitudinal profiles, and cross-sections
  • Creating and managing subsurfaces representing geological layers
  • Customizing the display of boreholes and geological data using Hatch Style Editor
  • Exporting 3D borehole objects to integrate with BIM and DiMS workflows

Learn how Geotechnical Modeler can simplify your geotechnical data integration, reduce project timelines, and improve your project delivery.
