Whether you’re in manufacturing, civil engineering or architecture, Autodesk Certification signals your experience and expertise to employers and clients around the world and, as such, is a very powerful asset for design professionals. To help you take the next step in your professional certification, we’re hosting Quarterly Certification Days to provide you with opportunities to certify your knowledge.

Purchase your exam online, and arrive anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at U.S. CAD’s Autodesk Certification Center. You will not be allowed to begin an exam if you arrive after 2:00 p.m.

What types of exams are offered during the Quarterly Certification Days?
Autodesk Certified Professional exams and Autodesk User Certification exams are offered. Autodesk Professional Certification allows experienced professionals with careers involving 2D and 3D design skills to certify their knowledge and experience with Autodesk applications and put themselves in line for career advance. Autodesk User Certification allows students to being their design careers while in school, and then move forward with additional levels of certification as they attend college and begin working as design professionals.

What certification exams are available?
For Autodesk Professional Certification, exams are available for: Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Revit Architecture, Autodesk MEP Electrical, Autodesk MEP Mechanical, Autodesk Revit Structure, Autodesk Maya, and Autodesk 3ds Max.

For Autodesk User Certification, exams are available for: Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Revit Architecture, Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3ds Max, and Autodesk Fusion 360.

Are exams based on a specific software release?
No. They are based on a series of fundamental tasks that are not release-specific. You will not need to order exams for a specific release to match the software release in the testing lab. U.S. CAD’s Certification Centers offer the latest available version of every exam.

How much time should I allocate for the exam?
We recommend allocating between 60 to 90 minutes for the User Certification and between 2 to 3 hours for the Professional Certification.
