Due to an upgrade of Bing Maps, support is ending for the Online Map Data feature for Autodesk AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT 2014-based products.

As of June 30, 2017, Microsoft stopped offering version 7 of Bing Maps, which is used to drive the Geo-location Online Map Data feature in AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT 2014.

Products affected:

AutoCAD 2014, AutoCAD Architecture 2014, AutoCAD Civil 3D 2014, AutoCAD Electrical 2014, AutoCAD LT 2014, AutoCAD MEP 2014, AutoCAD Map 3D 2014, AutoCAD Mechanical 2014, AutoCAD Plant 3D 2014, AutoCAD Structural Detailing 2014, AutoCAD Utility Design 2014, & AutoCAD ecscad 2014

Solution:

If you have version 2014, you will need to upgrade to a newer version of your AutoCAD-based product if you want to use the feature. Product versions 2015 and later can continue to use the feature by updating to the latest version of Bing Maps.
